So I've ready many articles on Woopra web analytics and Personyze, but when it comes to making a choice, I don't see why spending almost the same amount of money on Woopra, when you can get one of the best web analytical tool on earth for almost the same price?!!?!
you see, decisions are not easy most of the time, and I have nothing against Woopra, I think it is a great tool for its segment, but for Ecommerce websites, they need something much more powerful, smart and with many of the latest innovations inside. Before I leave you to your choices, please share some info about segments that you have built with the PROFILER. I am a newbie and just learned how to use the segmentation feature. It is quite very close to what Google Analytics has to offer, but hey, it is much better overall and very easy to use. I don't see any option for sharing segments right now, but I am sure that this will be in the future. So as a beta release for Personyze, It seems that they have got a really promising product out there. There are thousands of tools and web analytics software, some are good and some are just garbage. Look at the big companies, they have a lost to offer to website owners and website webanalytics gurus (Avinash Kaushik do you hear me?).
OK, I dig a little bit, but hang-on, just one more thing. I have seen many web analytics asoftware that wasn't built right, but as a programmer I can see that personyze is built in a modular way, so I am pretty sure that the company will come uo with some new ideas and we will see them at the dashboar d in no time.
My favorite web analytics software are: Google analytics, GetClicky, Personyze, Woopra, ClickTale HeatMaps (not real web analytics but heatmaps products, but they are great overall -- I mean the best overall!), Omniture, Coremetrics, Webtrends. That's all. There are many large companies who decide to but the most expensive of the bunch, aka webtrends, coremetrics and omniture, because they want other company to do the hard work of getting insights and understanding all the reporting figures. so if you are not the one who intends to sit down and learn the system, and also learn how to read reports, analyze them and make changes to your websites after you get those insights, then I think that you better of checking webtrends and omniture, which give you the best all-around consultation and product.
You should also need to know that Coremetrics, Omniture and WebTrends are quite epxensive, I mean far more expensive then other products. I think that the only product that can compete against them is PERSONZYE. Really, there is not other SaaS solution or software that is both affordable and offers one of the most complete web analayitcs package on the market today.
Everyone wants to get better ROI and Conversion rates, so in order to achieve that goal, you should not sit down and just watch how your business is selling less and less every here. You can upsale and optimize you online business with just a few steps. Believe me, After you try personyze you will understand that it can be very effective. Just create some banners for example, put two of them and make the optimizer decide which one leads to more conversion. you might find out that the results will be very surprising and you might continue making more and more optional banners just to check out the effectiveness of the other banners against the one that wons.
Personyze is by far the most advanced and flexible of the bunch, and I didn't even mentioned the price of the Saas. I am sure that the best thing to do is to visit Personyze.com website and check the plan that fits your budget best. There are some good plans for small websites, large websites and medium websites, everyone can join the party (LOL). I took the lowest in order to check it out, and my personal blog don't have many entrances from search engines, just starting out. But I am selling some stuff and have affiliate banners, so there is always a chance that if I change the banner to somethin else, I will do something better for the conversion rate. You need to test, tes and test all the time. some website owners afraid to make test because they will loose customers while testing. But you can loose more custoemrs if you are not testing. so the best thing is to try it out, not pain no gain, and I am sure that you will see improvement in the conversion rates, ROI and other important parameters that will make your website very successful on the web and you will be able to compete better against your online competitors.
